The aims and objectives of this lesson was to get me to think about:
The skills I will need to help with job hunting and gaining relevant experience
Potential job/placements and other opportunities
Becoming an expert in myself, learning about my strengths
Developing a compelling personal case study
Becoming an experienced entrepreneur
As a group we went through various career paths and wrote down different titles, but also the skills needed for those areas. This exercise helped us to think about the different skills we'll need to develop in the pathway we want to choose.

Situation
Task
Action
Result

Situation
Kirkstall Forge needed bold and vibrant artwork for new houses that the company want to sell.
Task
As an illustrator, I created a digital piece of artwork that was printed and displayed.
Action
Created a moodboard of ideas for my concept and did research about the industrial revolution
Designed thumbnails for the design
Created experimentations of the thumbnails
Designed final concept on Illustrator
Sent off the design to the curator
Worked with the digital print assistant to get the work printed
Delivered work to the company in person
Created invoice for the brief
Result
Succeeded in creating a compelling piece of artwork that will be framed and used as a part of their company. My name and details will be on a plaque so that professionals will have a chance to contact me and I was also paid for the brief too.
The main thing I learnt from the lesson was:
