I started to make another male figure study to gain more knowledge about the male form and I tried to follow this tutorial by Hardy Fowler, however I made the mistake of going to a much more advanced level when I haven't learnt the basics. I started drawing the base figure, I filled the outline with a black silhouette and started to fill the face with the red tone but I found it too difficult and realised that I don't need to go so advanced for a character design. Something I'm starting to realise about myself is that I seem to jump the gun and go complicated and then decide to go for a more simplistic look. In the future I will start off simple and work my way up instead of the other way round.
