MALE FIGURE STUDIES (SOME NUDITY)

I felt much better creating these figure studies as I was just able to simplify the male form. I knew that I wanted the character to be more heavy set but with a muscular build. It was a lot easier to find muscular references opposed to the heavier set references but was able to find some that I thought would fit the character. With some of the drawings I didn't draw the arms as I feel that drawing legs is a weakness of mine and I wanted to be able to develop skills in that area without being distracted. Drawing different body types also helped me to see how fat and muscle work together on the human body, if I stuck to one body type it wouldn't of been as helpful.
