Even though I struggled with this brief at the start, I'm really happy with the final outcome. I feel like the characters give off the cute vibe which was a part of the brief but in a funny way, I wanted to give the characters personality to tell a story. The old grandpa TV could be telling a story to his young moody teenage grandson who has hear the same story over and over again. I feel like the contrast of expressions work really well together.

I also worked with colours and style. With the grandpa TV I used an old fashioned style TV to show his age and on the screen (his face) I added bushy eyebrows, glasses and a moustache to age him and gave him a vintage look. I kept the screen greyscale as old fashioned TV's only showed in black and white.

For the grandson, I used a more modern flat screen TV to show his youth. I gave him freckles, a moody look and shiny edges to give off that teenage persona. With the colour scheme I used various shades of blue. I feel this gave a nice contrast to the brown, as brown is the closest colour to orange on the colour wheel and blue and orange are opposite each other on the colour wheel. This use of colours on the characters compliment each other well.
