FASHION BOOK BRIEF

My friend Farid came to me with a proposal about collaborating together to make a fashion book. He asked me if I would be the illustrator for the book as he would like a mix of photography and illustration, he also asked if I would design the front cover of the book too. I accepted the brief and was excited for this collaboration. He asked a few other people to be involved with this process too:

Farid - Creative Director/ Photographer

Jonathan- Illustrator

Kohenoor- Graphic Designer

Emily- Fashion Stylist

The plan is to start collating ideas and styles for the models, the layout of the book, the style of the illustrations and the timeplan to make sure we keep on top of everything. My main focus will be to start gathering research from various artists, start doing more studies of human anatomy to be able to draw more gestural poses and also work on different colour schemes to see what works best. I will also work on developing landscapes and trying to find my own style within that aspect.
