I don't look at many sculptors for inspiration but I was instantly mesmerised by the intricacy and detail of these creations. I love the way that each piece has a narrative, parts of the scenery or buildings are integrated into the face making a more interesting and compelling look to the piece than just having a head sculptor. They are beautifully crafted and the attention to detail really elevates the sculptures.

The use of colour is what stood out to me with this artist. The poster I'm creating is based around around an Indian play so I wanted something that used a lot of old and bright colours. The artist also uses a variety of textures in some of his work to help elevate the flat design. Even though his art is 2D the way he plays with light and shadows makes the illustration appear three dimensional. He uses gradients in some of his work which is something I want to try myself, sometimes gradients can make an image look cheap if it's used in the wrong way but in the right way it can really bring out a flat image.
